The Llama

I predicted how a llama and its habitat would change in 1000 years. I think climate change would turn the Amazon Rainforest into savanna like terrain and have tall dry grass and far fewer trees. There would be less water and it would completely change both a predator's hunting strategy and how prey defends itself. For the llama I predict its fur would become a more yellowish hue to blend into its surroundings and it would develop bushier fur on top and thinner fur on the rest of its body to create cooler temperatures for the llama. It would have more molars for tough grasses and its kidneys would concentrate urine to reduce water loss. For defense the llama would lose its toes which previously allowed for easier travel on varying terrain but since the ground would become more even it would develop hooves instead to run faster from predators.
