MONKEYS AND HABITATS

My tropical vertebrate animal is the Monkey. Monkeys live in tropical rainforests and Savannahs of Africa. In this present habitat, they have hairy and long tails with lots of water to drink. Monkeys will look hairless in the future because of climate change. They need to shed off their hair otherwise they may become too hot. Some adaptations that the monkeys might need is to have shorter tails so that predators will not be able to grab them especially from the trees. Another feature that Monkeys will adapt in the future is to camouflage. They will need this adaption because they will be able to hide from poachers, who hunt them for their meat, teeth, (Which they use for jewelry).
