Spider monkeys are herbivores, their diets consisting of a mixture; berries and plants that they grasp whilst swinging from treetop to treetop. Their herbivorous diet remains steady, for now. They’re agile throughout the treetops, and are covered in fur, different species consisting of different patterns. They do have a pair of sharp teeth, but they do not use them on other animals, only on plants. But what happens when climate change wipes out their habitat, that includes their only source of food? In the future, they will have to adapt no matter what. Putting their sharp teeth to use on prey, and swinging from dead branches to grab rodents and insects instead of their usual berries. They remain the same fur-wise, but only now they'll have to use a strong grasp to kill their prey, and pointed teeth to become a vicious carnivorous species feared by weaker animals.
