The big beak of a toukan might look like it makes it harder to gather food but it's quite the opposite. It helps it grasp fruit and small insects. It also helps it attract a mate and scare smaller predators off. The large beak and the small body do not help the toukan fly so it has developed strong toes to help it hop around from branch to branch. This new toukan will have to adapt to the new savanna biome. It will have a big beak that's really sharp making it perfect for scavenging. The next thing will be its size. It will be three times as big with big wings to be able to fly for a long time. And finally it will have to have sharper claws allowing it to grab onto its target and kill it quickly.
