The Golden Lancehead snake will potentially become somewhat similar to its desert cousins, adapting sharper senses to find scarce prey, a larger mouth to swallow larger prey, and darker coloration that also uses Aposematism to camouflage in the drier environment. Some non-visible adaptations are larger alveoli to store and produce more venom, the ability to last longer without food or water, and quicker reflexes. These adaptations will allow the snake to survive in a warmer drier environment because it will be able to outlast other creatures when resources are limited. It will also be able to find prey better than other predators as well as have a wider variety of prey that it can physically swallow.
