The animal I chose was a sloth. They are animals that live in tropical forests. But they live almost always in trees. They mostly eat leaves, but due to heat, and an increasing amount of fires happening in forests, I think they will have to start eating bugs because of the lack of trees that could happen in the future. I believe that if bugs become a main source in their diet then potentially, they could begin to grow a larger mouth, just like an anteater, in which they evolved from. The larger mouth would help them catch bugs. Sloths have algae-covered fur that helps them camouflage to its forest environment, but if potential fires start to spread, they could lose a lot of their fur, making camouflage for these animals difficult. They may have to find a new way of camouflage to not risk gaining a predator.
