The scarlet macaw has an interesting habitat. The rainforest. But because of climate change, the rainforest is losing trees and homes for animals. Within a matter of 30 years things could change rapidly. Temperatures will go up and habitats will get destroyed. I predict that some adaptations that could help the macaw could occur. Once includes more wing stamina to cool itself off. Another adaptation would be the change in color of the macaw’s feathers. It could turn more of a greenish brown to blend in with surroundings now that the rainforest will be less dense with less trees. Another helpful adaptation to the environment is when a macaw eats fruits with seeds in them it could drop them in the ground which could grow more trees. As a result, the rainforest is changing because of climate change but these adaptations could make a scarlet macaw’s life much better.
