Toucan

For my animal, I chose the toucan. Toucans are commonly found in big trees that have many sticks so the toucan can build tiny holes in it. They also commonly cross over the twigs so they can create their homes. In current times the rainforest is constantly being cut down and hurt. By 2100 there will be no more rainforest to be found, the toucan will have to migrate and adapt to new changes. Their beaks will have to become smaller and will not be able to open their mouth as wide so they can find foods that are not their normal. They will have a yellowish tint to hide into the waters and grasses more. They will also have to have a smaller frame and will be a lot skinnier so they can have larger wings to fly faster and swim in the water.
