Future Sloth

In the future we will face many environmental problems due to climate change, in the rainforest and the animals will have to adapt to it. The sloth is one of the animals that will adapt, the sloth will have lighter fur since their won’t be a lot of trees for shade due to deforestation and climate change. Since their aren’t as many trees to feed on the leaves the sloth will have to become carnivorous to survive. It will have longer front claws to dig into its prey, and it will live underground instead of on trees since their aren’t as many trees. It will have shorter fur so it doesn't get hot from the sun rays. They will be much smaller too because there isn’t much food to feed on because the land will become semi arid and not a lot of animals live there.
