Sloth

For my animal project I chose a sloth and my future drawing is around 1,000 years in the future. Sloths are usually up high in trees but with trees rapidly disappearing sloths are going to adapt and walk on the ground. Since sloths will be walking so they will have four legs and no long nails because they would break off and could potentially hurt themselves if they break off wrong. Sloths will also have lighter colored fur because darker colors attract heat and climate change in making the world warmer. Sloths do have quite a bit of fur so they would have a lot less fur also so they can keep cool. Sloths will have padding on the bottom of their feet so their feet do not get torn apart on the ground or get super hot from the sun beating down on the ground all day long.
