Squirrel monkeys currently live in the tropical rainforests of South America. I think that in the future, squirrel monkeys will live in savanna's due to deforestation. I think this because monkeys need to stay in high temperatures and other forests aren't as warm as the tropical rainforest. I think that this change would happen in around 250 years because if humans keep up the pace they are going at for cutting down trees, the world won't have any trees in 300 years. Some adaptations squirrel monkeys may have to make is not having many trees. It would take them a very long time to get used to not having many trees but it would be possible. Some details on the monkeys body I think may happen is a shorter tail, a bigger body, paws with more padding and bigger, and longer arms/ legs.
