I chose the Jaguar for my animal. Jaguars live in the rainforest, but due to pollution and climate change the rainforest will change a lot. Because of the changing environment the animals will have to change too. Climate change will most likely turn the wet rainforest into a dry savanna. One of the many adaptations the Jaguar may acquire in the next few thousand years. Instead of black spots they will have more brown colored markings to blend in with their new grassy environment. The new savanna will be very hot, so the jaguar will have significantly larger ears to help release their body heat and stay cool. They will also have no black spots so they can blend into the dry grasses more easily while they hunt their prey. Along with brown eyes to see better in the sunlight and black fur under their eyes to absorb sunlight.
