The Blue Poison Dart Frog lives in the Amazon Rainforest, which will change into a wetland due to deforestation and climate change. This may change some of the things the poison dart frog will need to do to survive, so it will need to adapt. Luckily for the Blue Poison Dart Frog, its main food source, insects, are still available to eat in wetlands. But there will be different insects, instead of beetles and termites it will need to eat the larvae of aquatic insects, flying insects, and even fish. Blue Poison Dart Frogs don’t need to swim because they live on the rainforest floor, since they don’t need to swim they do not have webbed feet, poison dart frogs will need to evolve webbed feet in order to swim and catch most of these animals, they will also need to swim to get around in their new environment.
