The Otter

For the “Future Creatures” challenge the animal that I have chosen is an otter. I chose this animal because it’s an animal that isn’t really talked about and is overlooked. I have given this animal modifications to increase the survival rate of this species. The first modification I have given this animal is long, sharp to claws to help it more effectively catch prey. The second is the thin sleek fur covering its entire body. This will help the otter move faster and easier by not being weighed down by heavy fur. In the case of global warming this will also help keep the otter cool. The third is a long tail with a razor sharp point at the end for defense. These modifications are all realistic and will assist the animal in a better chance at survival against predators.
