Future Nutria

The Nutria has evolved into a bigger version of itself. They did this to defend themselves from bigger predators. They have also developed thumbs to help them carry food more easily than ever before. They have longer claws and teeth to also help them fight off predators. They have adapted to the environment of the tropical rain forest. They live there now because it has more shelter for them and has more trees for them to cut down. They have larger webbed feet and a longer and thicker tail to allow them to swim faster. This is how I think they would look like in the next 1,000 years.
