Anteaters are mammals that can grow up to be 8 feet long. Anteaters live in the rainforests of South America and are endangered, it is estimated there are only 5 thousand left in the wild. Anteaters prey on ants. Their sharp and furry claws dig through ant hills and when the ants get aggravated and start coming out the anteater uses its long sticky tongue to grab and pull them into their mouths. Vrunks can grow up to 6 feet and have adapted to be smaller to fit through tight spaces while swimming in the water. Unlike the anteater the Vrunk has less fur, specially on the tail. This helps Vrunks glide through the water while escaping predators. Vrunks have webbed feet that help them with the rising sea levels. Vrunks now have to prey on small fish, fish eggs, flying insects and bird eggs.
