About 5 ft. wingspan, and bright crimson underbelly and chest. Emerald head and back. 6 inch talons, and a membrane that slides over the eyes. A ridge of metallic blue scales on its back, and the same scales, but loser covering the top of its wings to help with gliding. Oversized beak and 8 inch tail. Non-migratory and lives in tropical lowlands of Southern Mexico. Female.
