This is a design for a future strawberry-poison dart frog in a savannah environment. They’d have no choice but to primarily live near pools of water to keep moist. To adapt to this, they may develop webbed feet to be able to swim better. They may lose their ability to climb trees, since trees don’t provide the same protection as before. Another detail is difference in color. Outside of rainforests, most frogs prioritize camouflage so they’re usually in colors of brown and green. In the future, these frogs may also follow this trend and may evolve to resemble local waterside plants like sedges. These frogs may take a more brown color and a sharper appearance to be able to camouflage themselves in these plants and be able to stay close to water at the same time. To better reflect their current appearance, their name could be “Poison Sedge Frogs.”
