The Anteater:
The current anteater has specialized stomachs that grind up ants with muscles and dissolve them with acids. They also have a two-foot long tongue that helps them reach into mounds of insects. Even though an anteaters eyes and ears are small, their smell is 40 times better than humans. They are found in Central and South America except for 3 countries. They live in wetlands, grasslands, and tropical forests. The future anteater will have more types of acids in their stomachs, because the food in the future will be harder to eat. They will also shed all of their fur and grow out scales because the predators in the future are more ferocious. The future anteater will also have longer claws which will give it the ability to climb trees. It will need this adaptation because predators in the future will be more advanced.
