The Glass Frog is a transparent frog. It is found in the rain forests of Columbia and Costa
Rica.
Glass frogs have many adaptations that help them survive in the rainforests. Some of their adaptations include its translucent bellies and chests. It helps them blend in and stay away from predators. Glass frogs have suction cup like toe pads that glow in the dark. It helps them see in the dark and climb on trees and leaves better.
Due to climate change, the Glass Frog will need to adapt to drier climate. The future glass frog will have thick, waxy, cuticle so it can have adaptations to provide water for itself. It will need to become larger or grow because if its small it will be an easy target for bigger animals. It should also develop a more tan colored skin so it blends into the environment better.
