Scarlet Macaw

My rainforest animal is the Scarlet Macaw (Scientific name: Ara macao). The present day Scarlet Macaw has bright colors for blending in with the rainforest and a hooked beak for cracking nuts. Over time, deforestation will probably take place and the rainforest might turn into a savannah. Because of this, there will be different predators and the Macaw will need new camouflage. The camouflage will probably be colors like yellow, gold, brown, and tan. The Macaw will also have a different diet. As mentioned before, the present day macaw has a hooked beak for opening nuts. In the savannah, there are no nuts so the Macaw will need to evolve a different beak. The Scarlet Macaw might also need a new name!
