Oncillas live in tropical climates in places like Brazil and Costa Rica. Their fur is usually brown to gray, with patterned rosettes. They live in forests and are very good at climbing trees, but prefer to live on the ground. They usually weigh around 3-7 pounds. Their diet consists of birds, small mammals, and lizards. In the future, they will have to move farther into the mountains because the forests they live in will be destroyed. Because of this they will grow thicker coats to survive the cold climate. They will also have to start eating bigger prey, because the small things they usually eat will be scarce. This also means they will have to get bigger bodies, teeth and claws to hunt. Lastly, the brown color on their coats will change to a range of white to gray to blend in with the mountains they live in.
