Sloths live in the canopies of tropical forests and live in a lot of northern southern America and have a lot of adaptations to live there. They have long curved claws to help them stay on trees. They also have algae growth on their skin for camouflage. Sloths are great swimmers.
With climate change the rainforest will turn into a savannah with rivers because the land is going to dry out, so sloths will have to have new adaptations to live there . climate change will make it hotter so they will need thicker and shorter hair so it can trap in water and keep sloths cool. Sloths will also have pale skin for camouflage. An adaptation they will have is shorter claws for crawling and digging so they can borrow underground where it is cooler. There will be salt water and their stomach will adapt to drinking it.
