Flying foxes, or Pteropus, like in the rainforests in Indonesia. But unfortunately, these rainforests are being cut down, leaving many animals who live in the trees homeless. These animals will need to find a new place to like, or adapt. In the picture I drew of the flying fox with adaptations, you can see that it has longer legs and arms so that it can run across the desert. It also doesn't hang on trees anymore and instead sleeps in burrows. It can still glide, but because there are no trees they usually do not do that very often. It eats desert plants like grasses and if it can find fruit it eats that. You can also see in the picture that the flying fox has lighter fur on its head and wings. Their fur on their head is more of a sandy color and its wings are lighter.
