The capybara, (Hydrochoerus Hydrochaeris) is the largest rodent in the world. They live mostly in tropical rainforests because they need water to escape from predators. I think that in the future, the capybara’s habitat will turn into a savanna. As the temperature of our planet rises, the water will start to evaporate more quickly. So the tropical rainforest will become a place that is dry with hardly any water.
A capybara’s feet are partially webbed and partially clawed which help them be able to swim and run. In the future, around 3000 AD, I think that the capybara’s feet will be totally equipped for running. I also think that a capybara’s ears would get bigger as time goes on. As their habitat gets warmer, they will need bigger ears to let heat out more quickly to cool off.
