Ornithorhynchus reptans anates

The Platapus will most likely become more dependent on land because of water pollution and it will probably gain dog like legs and will lose its short webbed limbs, and it will most likely get a snout so it can become a more efficient hunter on land, it will also lose its dense fur or it will develop a thinner summer coat because of the heat (global warming) and will have a thicker winter coat (Ex.The winter freeze that happened in Texas in 2021). I also believe that their environment will be destroyed by pollution and global warming. But in the end I sadly believe the platypus will go extinct. Due to the fact that they are already a near threatened species, global temperatures are rising alarmingly quickly, and also because of the volume of trash in rivers.
