In 100,000,000 years, the coral snake will adapt to climate change. The rainforest will be flooded with water from melted glaciers. One of the three adaptations to the snake will be arms. The snake will grow arms to be able to launch itself from tree to tree. It will be able to avoid any predators that live in the water. The second adaptation is the color of its tail. It will dip its brightly colored tail in the water to catch food. When prey such as frogs takes the bait, the snake will grab it with its arms. The final change will be its underside. Because of deforestation, it would be hard to reach trees. The underside of the snake will allow it to skip over the water like a rock. The underside is a gray tone to camouflage with the polluted air.
