The three toed sloth lives in the tree canopy and the leaves and bugs are its food source. They move so slowly that algae grows on their fur. This camouflages the sloths from predators. Sloths can also swim. Climate change and deforestation will make it rain less in the Rain Forest and there will be drought. If the trees are dried up or cut down, the sloth has no where to live or eat. Sloths are endangered and could become extinct. They would have to move to where there are trees and adapt to living more in water and eat the plants in the water. They would need more algae on their fur to hide them from predators.
