White faced saki monkeys are not endangered, they can live 15 years with human care they can live up to 35 years. They live in tropical rainforests like the Amazon rainforest. White Faced Saki Monkeys eat seeds, fruit, insects, and small animals such as birds and bats. Since the 1800’s we've started climate change by burning coal, oil, and gas. Climate change is when temperatures and weather patterns change. Climate change affects rainfall. During dry months less rainfall could seriously affect many parts of the rainforest. Higher temperatures will reduce rainfall therefore white faced saki monkeys habitat will shrink. In 2030 a quarter of the Amazon will be gone, I imagine the rainforest being entirely gone in one thousand years. White faced saki monkeys will live somewhere else. We could rescue all the monkeys! I think human care will help them live longer.
