Brazilian Tapir

My animal is the Brazilian tapir. The tapir originally had smaller ears and a shorter trunk. However because of rising temperatures and the speed at which rivers are drying up, I predict that the tapirs will evolve to have larger ears and longer trunks. I predict that they will have bigger ears in order to help cool themselves down much. I also believe that tapirs will evolve to have longer trunks in order to access water more easily since rivers are drying up so because they are becoming more shallow, the trunk will help reach farther into rivers.
