> My Animal Description <

The animal I am researching is a Blue Poison Dart Frog. There is an adaptation I would like to share with you. First off, is the most important original adaptation. As you know all frogs are slimy and need water on them at some point to survive. So, my frog developed a new adaptation of dry scaly skin that does not need to be wet .I think that is amazing! The reason for this adaptation is especially important. This adaptation was developed because of the degradation of the rainforest. Because this happened, the land dried out and the frog couldn’t get the water it needed on its skin to survive. So, The frog soon developed cool new dry scales on its body. This adaptation helps the frog live without needing water to be on the frog's body. That is a brief description on my Blue Poison Dart Frog.
