Caimans are crocodile-like animals that have long bodies, big jaws, long tails and short heads. They also have thick skin with scales and their noses and eyes on top of their head. Today, these animals live on land or shallow water. They use their large tail and webbed feet to swim. They eat fish, turtles, and large animals. In the future when ocean’s rise they might have to swim more. This might cause their tail to become larger and their feet to become falter, this way the Caimans will swim better. Another problem is that their main food source, fish, will be limited due to algae bloom, overpopulation, and an increase in water temperature. When the fish population becomes restricted they will have to find other sources of food, this might affect their teeth and their jaws.
