My animal is the Binturong; a nocturnal, prehensile member of the viverrids, which lives in the tropical rainforests of Asia. It has a prehensile tail to live in the trees and away from predators, a thick coat of fur, and semi-retractable claws to hang onto bark. Because in the future there will be a low amount of trees due to deforestation, a Binturong's tail will stop being prehensile and instead thin to mimic a patch of red oats grass, their coat will become red to mimic a pinecone due to invasive plants and wildfires since pinecones are spread through heat and will become common in the savannah, and they will become more hostile with more canine teeth to scare off humans. In the future, they will be called the red shell binturong, and will live in the Asian savannah.
