New beak for the hummingbird!

My animal of choice is the hummingbird. It lives in the canopy and the emergent layers of the rainforest. I would like to change its beak. The hummingbird's beak is four inches long and about one centimeter wide. I would like to change that. I want to make it two inches long and one inch wide. The reason I want to change it is because hummingbirds only can eat small bugs like flies and gnats. This would help it because it can get bigger food like butterflies so they don't have to hunt as much. Also so they can feed more at a time to their babies.
