Okapi

In the future I believe the okapi habitat will change a lot. For example, I think most of the plants will die because of pollution and how we are treating the earth. I don't think many plants in the forest will survive. I think there will be alot deforestation and wildfire. According to Google, clear forest and leaves are prone to fires that can quickly become uncontrolled, and also caused by illegal logging. The pollution in the rivers produces chemicals that are very bad for the animal. Also, Okapi eat grass, fruits, ect and all the deforestation that’s happening, The animals aren’t getting enough food to eat. So, I think they will end up being skinny and weak and will most likely become prey. I think when they start losing trees their skin color is gonna change and just have black and white stripes and be called a zebra.
