The ocelot is a very unique creature. It has long and sharp talons to help it climb trees. They have a coat of fur to help keep them warm during the colder months. With deforestation and climate change on the rise the ocelot will soon change along with its environment. The environment will have much more shrubbery and will have very little amount, if any, of trees. I predict the ocelot will lose their sharp talons. They won’t be using them if they can’t climb. The rivers will also shrink quite a bit. Along with that the climate will be much, much hotter. I expect the ocelot to lose its fur because of this. It would negatively affect the ocelot only making it hotter during and around the summer months. They will also become slimmer and faster. They will need to run much farther lengths from their predators.
