Present and Future Chameleon

The present chameleon lives in the rainforest and has great camouflage with different shades of green. What would happen if sea level rises? First, the chameleon would need to change what it eats, the future chameleon would eat bugs and krill, he would catch them with his bumpy tongue. Right now the chameleon is pretty slow and in the water they would be even slower; since he would be so slow in water I decided to add webbed legs so he could power through the water. Even with all this it would still be pretty slow so if it is too slow I added a tail that gives out poison so its enemies would stay away. The chameleon would still need to stay hydrated because the ocean is full of salty water and not fresh water so I made the tongue be able to clarify water.
