Future Gray Mouse

The gray mouse currently lives in the rainforest. It eats insects, fruit, flowers, and leaves. In the future, there will be fewer trees in the rainforest due to climate change. Trees will be farther apart and the mouse will have a harder time hiding from its prey. In order to hide or protect itself, the gray mouse will become a goldish brownish color to blend in better with the dirt. It will also have sharper claws to dig faster and a better nose to smell insects and plants.
