My animal of choice is capybara which lives in the rainforest’s forest floor. More predators are going to move in the forest floor. They are going to be faster, bigger and stronger. Adult capybaras currently range from 3.48-4.40ft and mostly feed on grass. They weigh an average of 77-144 lb. What I would change about them to make them be able to stand up to predators, is to make them 50-75 inches and weigh an average of 450-660 lb. I would make them carnivores that should make them bigger because their prey will change. They could most likely prey on bigger animals such as Amazon weasels and giant otters. This will make them have more nutrition so they can have stronger, and bigger bones. That means they will be near the top of the food chain and make them one of the new predators.
