The toucan we love and know today has adapted into a creature that can survive the harsh cold waters of the future Amazon River. Our present keel billed toucan is known for their colorful multicolor bill. With their blue talons and a yellow under belly they are currently living happily in the Amazon Rainforest. In the future they have had to adapt to the ice caps melting and freezing the river. Their bill is now green . Their underbelly is now white and not yellow. Their talons are a brownish black and they are much much sharper to catch fish more easily. The underbelly is white because it will blend in with the water and the blue bill will also blend in. The orange will attract fish and will attract mates. Finally the sharper talons and fluffy feathers will help it stay warm and will grapple the fish easily.
