Since global warming is making the earth warmer, I think capybaras in the future are going to have very different features. They’ll have a bigger nose to smell or sense danger like wildfires. They will also have claws to climb up trees and to get away from the wildfires. More fat allows them to store more food while running away from wildfires because every animal will run to the same place and eat all the food, so it needs to store as much food as it can. Smaller feet give them more speed to climb up and run from harpy eagles, ocelots, jaguars, caimans and anacondas.
