Today the Red Eyed Tree Frog lives in the rainforest. If it is woken up by a predator, its red eyes will scare the predator and paralyze it for a few minutes. They also eat tadpoles that they find in water. Its light green color helps it blend in with the leaves.
In the future due to climate change the rainforest will become a savanna. There will be no water so the Red Eyed Tree Frog will not need webbed feet. Instead it would have claws so it can dig in the dirt. Its eyes would be brighter red to paralyze a predator longer. Its skin color will get darker green. It would have to eat dry grass because there would be no water for tadpoles. This is how a Red Eyed Tree Frog will adapt to a savanna.
