Eunetes murinius, also known as the green anaconda, is an animal that is designed for intimidation. However, it will adapt and change over the years. Here's how I think it will change in 1,000 years.
First, I think that will move south, closer to cities because of deforestation. Because of hunting and attack in these cities, they will lose the purpose of scales and replace them with ivory plates.
This will protect their bodies from hunting and natural predators.
Second, I think that they will grow fangs with deadly toxins.
Because they live in cities, it will be easier to bite urban animals compared to constricting them.
Lastly, I think that they will learn to slither upwards.
Because of urban buildings being everywhere, it will become useful to slither up the buildings to hide from cars or dangers like floods.
These adaptations seem likely especially in the world today.
