The Potoo

The animal I chose was the Potoo. If global warming continues, the rainforest biome may change to more of a Savannah biome. If this happens the Potoo will have to adapt to these changes. One change is that the Potoo will have wrinkly skin to protect its skin from the heat of the Savannah. It is also nocturnal so it is cooler and can rest during the daytime. It is very active so it can chase its food so I gave it legs. I gave it a large tongue to reach high up food and protect its mouth from sharper leaves. I also made it have a large stomach to hold water so it won't get exhausted as fast. The water runs through its veins out its entire body so it can stay cool in the hot Savannah weather.
