The Sloth

Before as we can see, the sloth is living a healthy lifestyle in the amazon. It is hanging off a vine and eating a plant. After as we can see the environment has gone through deforestation, which is the cutting down of trees/plants and that has caused the sloth to lose its food source. When trees are cut down, all the stored carbon has potential to be released back into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide, which then contributes to climate change. As we can see from the image, the sloth is less healthy looking, and all the vines and other plants are now gone, because when cutting down trees the vines and plants also get cut down with it. The sloth is now using grass as its food source and has learned to adapt to its new environment.
