The poison dart frog is one of many endangered species of frogs and they have many eggs that sometimes don’t make it because of the harsh conditions. One way that they can protect their species so that they can thrive is by putting a sticky substance around their eggs. This will help fight the flooding and increased water flow in the rainforest. This is all caused by climate change and putting the sticky substance around the eggs will help fight it. Climate change will make all the dry areas drier and all the wet areas wetter, which is why the rainforest will become more dangerous for the eggs. In the present, their eggs are sticky but not sticky enough to withstand the harsh environment. In the future, when their eggs are even more sticky, the eggs will be able to stay on the leaves in the rainforest without being harmed.
