Have you ever wondered what tigers are going to be like in 1000 years? Some types of tigers live in the rainforest, where they can camouflage to get food. They blend in with the surroundings, which makes their prey easy to catch because they can’t see the tiger. However, deforestation is destroying their habitats. Over 1000 years, tigers might adapt to water, or live partly in water and partly on land, like amphibians do. Tigers might look very different over the next 1000 years, too. Maybe they will develop scales and fins, just like the fish. We don’t know the future of this exotic and threatened species.
