Sumatran Orangutans live in the tropical rainforests of Sumatra. They are extremely arboreal. Currently, they live mostly on trees and barely go on land. They travel from tree to tree. They are frugivores, meaning their diet mostly consists of fruits and other types of vegetation. In the next few centuries, Sumatran Orangutans will change physically and behaviorally, due to rising temperatures. Their forest will eventually burn down, leaving a savanna in its place. To not overheat, Sumatran Orangutans will have shorter hair. Their hair color will become a light tan to blend into the savanna. Because of the shortage of trees, they will become Terrestrial Animals. Sumatran Orangutans will start to walk on all fours. Their limbs will become strong and lean to run from land dwelling predators, such as tigers. They will become more vigilant. Their diet will contain mostly meat and possibly animal eggs, making them carnivores.
