An Okapi is a breed between a zebra and a giraffe. Okapi’s habit is the northeast region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Central Africa. An Okapi’s life span is about 16 years. They start at a height 2.6 feet then 5 to 5.6 feet at adulthood. Okapis weigh 440 to 770 pounds(Females weighing 495 to 770 Ib and males weighing 440 to 660 lb ). Their diet consists of tree leaves and buds, grasses, ferns, fruits, and fungi.
In the future I believe that the Okapi fur would be lighter and the zebra strips would spread more on the body due to heat.(I don't have an image to show this hypothesis.)
