A basilisk eat smaller lizards and small mammals. Basilisk can run on water to escape from predators. Basilisk can only live to 2-6 years. Basilisk lizards are found in lowland forest near Central America, often near rivers. I think that the rainforest it will end up hot so it turns into a desert.
